B.Com. (Plain)

A B.Com degree is structured to provide the students with both practical and managerial skills in disciplines related to Commerce and Economics. By the end of the BCom program, students gain an in-depth knowledge on core subjects like Accounting, Law, Statistics, Business, Finance, Business Organisations, Marketing, Economics, just to name a few.

A student holding a B.Com Degree is well prepared to pursue a career, both as a corporate employee and as an entrepreneur. The student gets adequate knowledge of adapting to the changes in the flexible business world, can focus both domestically and internationally, and has an in-depth understanding of the business world’s industry and market-relevant aspects. On the other hand, if he/she wishes to choose to start his/her own business, he/she can run it successfully and professionally without having to pay to expert accountants or market consultants after having completed this course..

Students of B.Com can certainly expect high employment opportunities as today every business needs a commerce specialist or an accountant to run the business successfully. B.Com students have a good understanding of how the financial aspects of a business need to be managed. There is never a shortage of jobs in this field.

DURATION

B.Com is a three-year full-time undergraduate degree course affiliated to Barkatullah University, Bhopal.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

A candidate should have passed 12th Standard (or equivalent) Examination from a Recognized Board as per the rules of Department of Higher Education, Government of Madhya Pradesh.
