Bachelor of Science in Microbiology

Eligibility:

The student must have passed 10+2 with a minimum of 55% marks in the respective qualifying examination from a recognised educational board.

The students must have studied Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Zoology/Botany as the mandatory subjects in 10+2 or any other equivalent qualifying examination.

Duration:3 year full time course

Skills to be learned /enhanced:

Before microbiologists can solve the problems caused by microbes, or exploit their abilities, they have to find out how microbes work. They need to have practical hands on experience with microbes. They can then use this knowledge to prevent or treat disease, develop new technologies in various fields like Pharmaceuticals, agriculture, food etc. and improve our lives in general. Basic skills include interpersonal, analytical, mathematical, speaking and writing expertise, and further being detail-oriented.
